Top Flight Engineer, R.A.F. Coastal Command, flying B24s, B25, Awarded the R.A.F.Certificate of Merit. Qualified Top Air gunner, 303/0.5 Brownings.

Former member of the St.Athan's Silver Band, playing Trumpet/Cornet.

Spectroscopist, founder member of the World wide Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance/Interaction Group, since 1972. Also Photo-Electric Spectroscopy Group, experienced in U.V./Vis., Laser Raman, Mass, N.M.R., E.S.R., X.ray, F.I.R., ORD/CD., Polarography etc.

Previous posts - apprenticed in Electrical Engineering, with large south coast company, working on Hornsby, Petter, Pelapone, Fielding Stationary engines  & Generating sets. Also on Jenson, Otis, S.M.S. J  &  E Hall Lifts.

In Experimental Test & Development Laboratory, working on wartime secret De-gaussing, & Oscillator anti mine, & other Naval Equipment!   Desiger for Crompton Parkinson, on controlling equipment, used World wide. This included Liquid, Eddystats, Dynamic plus other forms of controllers!

Experienced with refrigeration equipment, Kelvinator, Coldspot, J & E Hall, York Shipley, Sterne, Sabro etc.

Chief Refrigeration & Audio Engineer, for Tom Arnold, Chief Electrician & Lighting Director for Holiday on Ice, directing in 5 languages. Electronic Engineer & Press Photographer for the Daily  Mirror Group.

Chief Television & Radio Engineer for Murdoch's, Scotts, Broadmeads etc.

Chief Technician, Chemistry Department, Sussex University, Managing Director of Advanced Scientific Instruments, London Wall.  Manager of Lasar Raman Laboratory, in Paris.

In addition to my Aircrew Service, I was a member of the British Red Cross, ARP,  Fire Warden, Home Guard Corporal Small Arms Instructor.  Fully trained B.A. rescuer.

My Invention of the First Radio Microphone, is now in the Science Museum, London along with a working NQR Spectrometer which I designed & made!

Former Ice Skating Champion, Life Member National Ice Skating Association & RA.F.A., holder of Radio calls, G3GZT/VS6CD, member of RSGB, ARRL, NBTVG, BATV, & many other associations.

On the show business side, I was a London Agent, in the West End.  I have starred in most of the Theatres around the U.K. & overseas including Ice Shows, Pantos. etc. etc. I have also  have sung in the London Arena, (Wembley Pool) to an audiance of 10,000 plus.  In 1949 I  appeared & topped the bill on Television, performing 80% of that day's transmission from Alexander Palace.

I was a pre-war Television Experimenter and was awarded the Baird Pioneer Medal by the Royal Television Society.

Long before the Hang Glider, I flew John Noakes on my Kite, for the Blue Peter Programme.

Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Sussex Magic Circle and one time advisor & trainer to Paul Daniels.

Member of British Equity, since 1949.   Public Relations Officer & Variety Annual Representative for the Sussex Branch.

In 1993 at Monte Carlo I arranged the "Give a Little Whistle", programme which won the prestigious Broadcasting Prize for BBC Radio 2.

On the Scientific side, I have designed & made Spectrometers for the following, The Science Museum and the following Universities: Sussex, Brunell, Lancaster, Leicester, Hull, Heriot-Watt, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Surrey, Kent, Dublin, Darmstadt, Erlangen, Ferdowshi, Abidjan, Queensland, Sydney, Chungkala Korn, McGilll.   The last one I made, will eventually go into the Rutherford Museum.  

I also made further Scientific Equipment for King's College, Queen Elizabeth College and several Polytechnics.

I have also installed Lasar Raman Spectrometers in Sussex, Southampton, Leicester & Amsterdam Universities.

I was also a designer for Coderg, Paris, Spectra-Physics, Smith's Instruments, Princestone Applied Research etc.

Over the last 28 years I have participated in all the NQR/NQI Symposi around the World. I have published, along with other prominent Scientists, in many top Scientific Books & Publication, i.e. Heydens, Elsivier also collabrating with Prof. J.A.S. Smith, Colliagni etc.

During my time with the RAF, I flew many hours around the mysterious "Bermuda Triangle", where we lost both B24's and B25's without trace or even "mayday" signals.  I have tried to discover the total record of losses, but neither the War Office or RAF have any details.  The records were apparently lost during one of the worst hurricanes to hit the island.

Why these aircraft were lost, is no mystery
